only adjustments i made to charly's suggestions were reducing his suggested body and sleeve lengths by .5" (he suggested 22" and 25" respectively; i changed them to 21.5" and 24.5"). i originally wrote down 21" and 24" for my body measurements, but he bumped them up to account for the ribbing causing the jacket to ride up.

i was hesitant in going as long as he suggested since they'd be similar to what the model on their site is wearing (who has 5" in height on me; he wears a stock 46 @ 6'1"), so i compromised by only going halfway. i was also kind of skeptical of how much the ribbing would actually cause the jacket to ride up, since i've owned a v1 and i don't remember it riding up at all. i also didn't want my sleeves to stack, either.

while i'm more than happy with how the front length turned out (hits exactly where i wanted it to; could actually maybe be .25" shorter if i'm being anal), I kinda wish i would've gone longer on the sleeves because they really do ride up (as you can see in the first photo where it looks too short; the ribbing on the a-2 is completely unlike the v1's - it's a lot tighter). though i think it would've taken more than charly's original suggestion of 25" to actually make a noticeable difference. it's not that big a deal, though, since they're easily adjustable by just slightly pulling them down. the body (in the front, anyway) does not ride up at all in my brief experience.

i'll do a more thorough "review" of sorts for both jackets when i have the time (and yes, i'll get belted pics for that one dude who asked for them)

p.s. don't know why anybody wears the jacket without the shearling

it looks so boring without it imo, though i guess the vibe it gives off is different without
