The coin pocket was moved lower and closer to the main zip, the waist pockets were shifted to a more 45° angle, the way the sleeves and the shoulders are attached is done in a more shirting style way with a felled seam, the belt loops were made wider to accommodate snap closure and come from the hem of the jacket instead of being situated higher up with stitching only, and a diagonal zip pocket was added to the forearm area of the left sleeve.
