also, i was gonna save this for my "thorough write-up", but the leather is remarkably smooth and soft. i've always thought that saying that it's like "butter" was kind of douchey, but it really is like butter. while this would normally be a good thing, however, there is a problem in that i ordered a calf jacket.
when i first opened the package and held the jacket, i instantly noticed what i described above, but i chalked it up to falcon's use of a new calf leather, which is supposed to be softer (the thing has a decent weight to it, too, which also made me think that it was calf). but after coming back home and having a bit more time to try it on and check it out, i'm kinda convinced that i was accidentally sent a lamb jacket.
the jacket is really pliable and i can't discern any need to break it in at all. it's also not as "glossy" as i thought calf was supposed to be. im addition, veins along the back of the collar and inside/around the shoulder gusset area can be seen:
